Immersing myself within nature to bring it's essence into my art.
For me, art making in nature is soul-searching. I become one with the Earth, the elements and welcome all the mysteries and answers that are offered. This time brings peace, calm and clarity. It is my deepest wish that my art will bring the same essence into your heart and home.
To celebrate time back into my paint and cyanotypes, I thought I’d share a short video of my process. This new piece I created today has me flying on cloud 9. Keep watching as new works will be breezing their way into my studio!
I love watching the water swirl at Kaiteriteri Beach...a photo shoot and cyanotypes are on my mind! .
Surfing in New Zealand mixes well with creating saltwater cyanotypes and landscape photography.
I’m so grateful for living in this paradise, having the time in quiet solitude to create cyanotypes, mixed media paintings and photography.
My creativity has been absolutely nourished and set free in this Land of the Long White Cloud.
